    Look at Ruby Application Archive ([url]http://raa.ruby-lang.org/[/url]) for:

    * setup.rb (also at [url]http://i.loveruby.net/en/setup.html[/url]) --
    note that install.rb is now merged into setup.rb

    * install-pkg -- not sure how it helps, but it's there. :)
