Default creating multi page pdf in illustrator

I know that I can create a PDF in Illustrator, however, I am looking to create one that has multiple pages - ie I have a brosure that I created in illustrator that I now need to convert to pdf...is there any possible way to do this - if so, how - and if not are there any other suggestions as to how I may accomplish this?

Usually Indesign is easier to accomplish this but what you can do if you have a full version of Acrobat you can create individual page pdf's then open Acrobat start a new document and I think it will ask you if you have multiple pages then select the pdf's, organize them then sha-bam you should have a multipage document...so in short use acrobat to create a multipage pdf easily

    Heidi,

Someone posted a workaround here the other day (although I haven't tried it
    myself!).

You need an existing PDF of the correct number of pages, which you open in
Illustrator choosing 'Page1'. You then delete that content and paste your
own content into it and Save. Do that for each page in turn. When you save
the remaining pages will be retained.

I have tried this and it seems to work - however there are some elements that are left over within the pdf from the initial artwork. When I open the pdf in illustrator I am unable to see these elements in order to delete them so I am not sure how else to delete them - I have checked the layers and these objects don't appead within the layers...I would try it with another 2 page PDF however I do not have one at the moment - but i'm looking for one in the mean time. Thanks for your help.

    Heidi,

I know the full Acrobat application (Standard or Professional) can be tough to acquire on limited budgets.

You might look at some third-party products, such as PDFedit995 <http://www.pdfedit995.com>. PDFedit995 is, amazingly, free if you don't mind commercials, $10 otherwise. A Google search with the phrase 'PDF creation software' will turn up a number of options which, it seems, will let you combine multiple single-page PDF's into a single multipage PDF.

I haven't tried any of them myself, so I cannot vouch for their abilities, but this might be an avenue worth pursuing.

(My primary concern with third-party PDF software would be whether they create documents that are fully PDF-standards-compliant. Would all recent versions of Reader on all platforms open the document without difficulty?)
