    Creating Outlines in Illustrator Question - Please Reply ASAP

    I have a logo that I have to animate in Flash 5, but I don't have the font and I don't know what it is.
    I have a Photoshop file of the logo. How do I transport it into Illustrator and create an outline of it so I can use it as an image in Flash?

    Thanks

    PS: I'm using a Mac

    hi

    in flash also u can do really very good traceing and scatching. like illustrator and coreldraw. it is easy to draw logos and scatches in flash.

    if u have logo in psd file

    solution 1:

    --> u can convert it in jpg
    --> import in flash
    --> use Magic wand option under lasso tool to remove unwanted part of logo

    For a logo, that presumably some customer cares about, nothing will do except to patiently draw it.

    If the logo is on it's own layer, (not flattened) you can import the psd
    file right into flash.
    If it's flattened, your sol, time to dust off the pen tool :)

    If the logo is high res, use the magic wand tool in Photoshop to isolate it from the background.
