Quark 4.0 is a classic application and Acrobat 6 is a OS X application.
I would use quark to create a postscript file and distill the postscript
file with Acrobat Distiller 6. Alas I cannot tell you how to create a
postscript file with Quark. It would be best if you could use the
Distiller 6.0 ppd. Hopefully, someone can step in and give you more details.
