    Default Creating spreads using single pages

    How do I create spreads using single pages instead of facing pages?

    I used to be able to do this in Quark, but I can't figure out how to do it in InDesign.

    Thanks

    John, I do not understand.
    To my mind a "spread" are two facing pages.

    If you want to keep single pages together you can select your pages in
    the page palette - go to the Flyout menu and select "Keep Spread
    Together" - this leaves the selected pages signed with a bracket and
    allows the pages to stay together if you drag to the desired position.

    I am trying to create a layout similar to this:
    <http://i43.photobucket.com/albums/e363/juano28/Indd1.jpg>

    When I drag down a master page next to an existing page it drops down below instead of staying side-by-side to create a spread.

    Nina, Thanks for your response, but the "Keep Spread Together" command only lets me move the spread as a unit. It does not allow me to create, as in this example, a 3 page spread using single pages.

    Thanks everyone for your help. As seen by this example, it can be done in Indesign. I am sure I will be embarrassed when I find out how easy it is.

    Thanks
