Cross platform - CD File structure
Hi,
I need to complete a cross platform CD and have opted for seperate projectors and movies for PC and MAC (not keen on making sure every line of code works on both platforms)
The problem is that I have a directory with HTML files which are about 480MB in size.
Traditionally I would create 2 partitions which would work just fine, but both PC and Mac versions need to have access to the HTML files.
The Project is Designed in Dir 8.5 (PC and MAC)
PC - Win 2000 Pro
Mac - OSX running in classic mode
This is my planned structure - any thoughts?- Autorun for PC - links to PC folder with projector and movies>Root
(How would set this up?)
- Mac Projector - links to MAC folder with movies
(How would set this up?)
- All PC Movies>PC Folder
- All MAC Movies>MAC Folder
- All HTML Files>HTML Folder
1. Is this correct?
2. How would I go about in setting up the structures and finaly burn the CD?
3. Which format must the CD be burnt to ensure optimal accessability?
4. Anything else I need to know?
Thanks
Deon

Re: Cross platform - CD File structure
Read the instructions for Toast on creating Hybrid (custom) CDs and all will
become clear: basically, you create a CD which has Mac (HFS) and PC (ISO/Joliet)
sections and then you share data from the HFS portion with the ISO portion.
