Cross platform problems
Hi
I have a design portfolio which I created on mac.All my final work is done in
FH MX. All my images are jpegs and tiff's.
I am now working on a PC.
When I burn my work to CD, using toast and try and open it on my PC, I cant
see my images in freehand.
The images are on the CD but cant be read by PC.
Help!!!!
How do i fix this problem.

Re: Cross platform problems
Mr Pappy,
Maybe you know this already.
Mac files typically don't have file extensions which windows needs.
add .jpg to your jpegs and .tif to your tifs and hopefully that will solve
it.

Re: Cross platform problems
Hello Mr Pappy,
I noticed that sometimes Jpegs or Tif's saved from the mac wont show up in the
pc ver of FH when opened also.
Sometimes FH on the PC will say not a valid format ect ect. Just open and
resave them in Photoshop on the PC if adding the file extension doesn't work.
You can also try to relink your files. FH on the Pc might be confused where
the source files are located since you came from another platform.
just some ideas to help you out.
