Default cross site roaming profile trouble

I have roaming profiles set up presently on a domain
spread accross two sites. I have a problem in that when
logging into my computer >win xp pro< on the opposite
site to the profile server it does not bring my profile
over. Is there a setting somewhere that limits profiles
to one site or am I missing something obvious?

Thanks very much for your help

Default Re: cross site roaming profile trouble

I wouldn't mind betting that your DNS configuration is not consistent across
    the two sites.

If you have any group policies, take a look in the event log to see if there
are any errors relating to UserEnv and group policy, because if there are
DNS problems that is likely to be happening.

Here's a TechNet Support WebCast that describes how to use UserEnv logging,
which you can use to get a detailed (extremely detailed, in fact) log of
everything related to the startup of the user environment.
