Default CS Progress Bar aka Thermometer goes backwards when saving

I notice the progress bar that comes up when saving my 40MB AI file gets about 75% of the way to finishing, then suddenly goes backwards back to about 60%, then moves positively to the end.

I think that's a UI bug. Progress bars are not supposed to go backwards.

However it is nice to see time reverse itself however briefly while working in AICS.

That happened to me the other day. The progress bar got up to about 90% on a large file, then inexplicably starting going backward. When it reached 10%, I noticed papers across the room start fluttering towards my monitor. At 8% all the straight lines in the room - doorways, desk edges, books - started to warp toward the monitor. And at 5%, my head started to move into the monitor. In a panic, I hit Command - Period, and the world briefly turned into a spinning beach ball before returned to normal. Whew! Whatever you do, DO NOT let a reverse progress bar reach zero!

Happened here as well. But also in Photoshop?

I too wondered what was going on. My throat started tickling, my toes curled toward the monitor, and the cat chased the dog up a tree.

Of the old CWUL syndrome! There is absolutely no cure for it!

Sorry Steve! You got it an that's it!

These problems are related to IMO to the security update, which is what the time zone thing is all about as well.

The way I was lead to believe it, that there is a scheme in which a hacker can enter your system firewall or no firewall by being there either before the fact or after the fact, that is they were never there.

That is the back door is already opened and closed at the same time.

So this maybe what everyone is seeing is that the security system is showing itself
which means it is giving itself away an there is no security!

Of course since I don't know what I am talking about it is all going into my thew story I am writing anyway because it sounds like I know what I am talking about!

    And tie that cat up!

Wade: Please go back and read what you wrote outloud to your self. You might be surprised. LOL!

....and Poor Frontcat. I don't know if he was pushing the Envelope but this thread did take a twist that tickled the funny bones.

Thank God Illustrator users have a sense of humor. That was the funniest thing I've seen all day.

Well excuse me, I gotta fire up UniverseShop and do a Euclidean Blur on all the neutrino superstrings that the back-cat is kneading in this shaky temporal lobe.
