CS: Unable to Read .Eps and .AI Files Burned to CD
I have several eps and ai files which I have backed up to a CD. I can copy them back to my PC and have no problem accessing them. But when I try to access them directly off the CD, some icons have changed and Windows "encounters a problem".
Does anyone have any idea what's happening here. I'm using XP home with 265 ram.

Re: CS: Unable to Read .Eps and .AI Files Burned to CD
Although all images (files) taken from a CD are READ ONLY that should have no bearing on your ability to open the file directly from the CD without copying it first to your hard drive. Have you tried to open the .ai files on your Illustrator CD disk(s)? If those will open, as they should, then I suspect something in the burn process may have corrupted your "backup" files.

Re: CS: Unable to Read .Eps and .AI Files Burned to CD
I am having problems viewing Illustrator CS files that I have burned to CD. Once the Illustrator icons have been trashed I can view my files, but this means I can't preview my images in thumbnails. I have heard that it is an XP thing. Does anyone else experience this problem, or know a way around it?
