CS2 transform again - Adobe Illustrator Windows

Is it just me or does anyone else have the same symptom in AICS2? "Transform again" (ctrl-d) does not function when the direct selection tool (white arrow) is used to move selected points. It is being logged because it takes 2 "undos" to get back to where I started. Just on screen nothing moves....

It seems to be because pressing Ctrl switches to the black pointer. (?!)

With the point still selected after the first move, get the black pointer and then press Ctrl D. Then it works because then pressing Ctrl switches back to the Direct pointer.

    Yucko.

    That's it, JET. Yucko, indeed.

Someone must have cleaned up the "problem" that in all previous 11(-4) versions of AI, pressing the ctrl key while the direct selection tool was selected, did NOT temporarily revert to the black arrow selection tool. If anyone from Adobe is listening in (Teri?), please make the behaviour revert to what we've been used to for 15 years. I personally used it A LOT in patent drawing.

And thanks for fixing the bug in CS1 that did not allow items to remain selected after an undo. Even though you said it was MY problem, the bug was fixed in CS2.
