    Default CSS Layout

Hello, can anybody tell me if it's more difficult (or not) to administer a
site with Contribute if that site is built using CSS-positioned DIVs?

    Thanks

    Default Re: CSS Layout

    Hi John,

From my experience with V3 there really is very little noticeable difference.
It was built to handle CSS sites. I'm upgrading my site to CSS-P compliant from
table based templates and everything is going well.

Contribute (and Dreamweaver) allow for Design Time styles so that is helpful.
I've had layout issues in the Edit mode and have had to use design time css to
fix the design/layout. Not perfect but it helps.

I only have experience with css sites and they work - can't say if one is
    'more difficult' than the other.

If you have the newest version of Dreamweaver & Contribute then your CSS/CSS-P web site should render reasonably well. Especially if your code validly adheres to the current W3C spec.
