Default CSS rendering in Edit Mode - current status?

As we're working with entirely CSS-driven layouts, our Edit Mode rendering is
pretty bad - still usable (just!) but far from perfect.

Before I get in touch the MM support, does anyone know anything about the
current status of CSS rendering support, and if there are any upgrade plans
    forthcoming?

Macromedia is always trying to refine their wysiwyg rendering to be more
similar to how modern browsers will render it, but your right, sometimes its
far from perfect. If your style sheet and HTML code validates this'll help
    immensly though.

Fraid not, still in development. Both the XHTML and CSS validate (apart from one IE expression to fake min-width).
