CSS Style and <iframe> tag - HTML & CSS

Hi. I'm working with some .ASP pages, with an <iframe> tag on it. The case is that the iframed.asp page has some CSS style attached to it, but won't recognize body background image, background color, or scrollbar colors. Just as body{} tag wasn't in the css style. Strange is that I have some (older) pages working this way and can't find the difference. What am I doing wrong? Tnx in advance....

    Default CSS Style and <iframe> tag

    Hi.
    I'm working with some .ASP pages, with an <iframe> tag on it. The case is that
    the iframed.asp page has some CSS style attached to it, but won't recognize
    body background image, background color, or scrollbar colors. Just as body{}
    tag wasn't in the css style.

    Strange is that I have some (older) pages working this way and can't find the
    difference.

    What am I doing wrong?

    Tnx in advance.

    Which page are you applying the CSS to? To affect the page being loaded into
    the iframe, the CSS has to be applied to that page, not the page that contains
    the iframe.

    Also, scrollbar colors only work in IE.

    I'm aplying the CSS to de "iframed" page. Tried to attach it and to include
    the styles IN the file, but no luck.
    Yes, I know scollbar colors only apply to IE.

    This is the 'parent' code, nothing odd:

    What styles are not working for you? Oh, the icky scrollbar? Just change
    this -

    <!--
    body {

    to this -

    <!--
    html {

    On a page in standards mode, the scrollbar belongs to the html tag not the
    body tag.
