Re: cutting a shape
You will need to give us a little more information in order to help you.
Which version of the software?
What do you mean by import, is this vector artwork or raster? What format
was the file you imported?

Re: cutting a shape
Hi Happy Canyon!
in windows:
Select selection tool (black arrow). press Alt-key (switches between selction
and subselection) and select the circle. Release key and mouse button. Press
delete. You can also ungroup the whole object, and select/delete, group.
FH has excellent selection features. Alt-Ctrl+right mouse button enables you
to pick objects under another for each mouse click. Same way on Mac, maybe
other keys.
Remember: if you provide more details, it's easier to help you!

Re: cutting a shape
1) Make sure the Path in photoshop is closed (starting point and ending
point are the same)
2) Save the path in Photoshop. If it is called "Workpath" it is not
"saved" yet. Double click on the path name in the Paths Palette and
give it a name.
3) With the path selected in the Paths palette (in Photoshop) choose
"Clipping Path" from the pop-out menu on the top right of the palette.
A dialog box will come up make sure the path name is selected and OK it.
4) Save the file (flattened) as an EPS or TIFF. EPS is highly more
accurate with the Clipping Path, but if you are printing or proofing to
a non-PostScript printer or using FHs Export to PDF feature it will not
show up, so use a TIFF. If you are having it professionally printed
then use the TIFF for your proofs then replace it with an EPS when
sending to the printer.
