cvc color palette in freehand mx?
two of us are basically the test monkeys for freehand mx, while the rest are working in freehand 9 or 10 at our place of employment. i need to know if i can import the pantone uncoated (cvc) into mx? the rest of the company used this pallete for setting up color seperations, however i do not know what the equivalent of that is or if i can just import the library from an earlier version. please help.

Re: cvc color palette in freehand mx?
FH MX is now using Pantone's new color libraries. These may have slightly
different names than the older ones that shipped with previous versions of
FH. The actual data files use exactly the same file format.
You can place any color library that is compatible with any version of FH
(at least back through about FH4) into the Color or Colors folder in FHMX to
make it available in the Swatches panel. In FHMX, you will find this folder
in each user's Application Data or Application Support folder tree. The
exact location varies with OS version and platform. The easiest way to find
it is to access the Import option from the Swatches panel in a running FHMX
and note the location of the folder that the File Open dialog is displaying.
If you have individual user logins to your OS then there will be a separate
folder for each user; you willl need to copy the desired library into each
user's "Colors" folder.
