CVS
Hi all,
I have a quick question for everyone (anyone prepared to answer :) )
does anyone have any experience with CVS (Concurrent Version System)
within an AIX environment?
We're thinking of using it but I'd like to know that I'm not painting
myself into a corner in any way.
What I'm thinking of is are there any gotchas? any pre or
co-requisites? Any (better) alternatives?
Any help/suggestions would be very helpful.
TIA
Ken

CVS is open source so support for it isn't likely to go away anytime soon.
If AIX (God forbid) becomes illegal to use you can install CVS on any
other unix system, move the repository files and you are still in business.

Speaking of extensions...
There is a DW extension that will integrate DW with CVS (and one for SVN as
well):
