D8.5 / D MX: place MIAV behind the stage in an full screen projector - Macromedia Director Basics

Hello, does anybody know, if it is possible to place a MIAV behind the stage in an full screen projector (using the lingo command moveToBack)? I've found a technote that this is not possible for Director 7.0.2, but maybe this behaviour has been chenged in later versions. Thank You very much, René Schwab...

Does it have to be behind the stage? Could it be off-screen instead? (Although I
can see the potential for problems with that because some video card drivers
have a setting to prevent windows opening off-screen.)

Hmmm....I don't have 7.0.2 to test with, but just because moveToBack() on a MIAW
doesn't work doesn't mean that using moveToFront() on the stage won't.

Are you just looking to hide a MIAW? if so you could set the visible of the
    window to false:

    window("mywindow").visible = FASLE

if this isn't what you are trying to do then ignore ;-)

    Hello,

no, "moveToFront the stage" doesn't work. I'Ve testet it. But to make the MIAV invisible would be an solution. I will have to change some code, becouse I now have to check if the MIAV is on the same display then the stage, but it will work.

Thank you very much for Your suggestions.
