Darwin: What provides /usr/lib/crt1.o and /usr/lib/dylib.o? - Mac Programming

What package provides /usr/lib/crt1.o and /usr/lib/dylib.o on Darwin? I need to build the amanda backup client for OSX (G5). The machine in question lacks these two libs, and the link fails. XCode has been installed by others; I presume that something didn't make it into the installation process. Although my immediate problem is solvable by simply copying the needed files from another machine, on general principles I'd prefer to install the software "correctly". Though my Unix skills are quite good, I'm pretty thoroughly unfamiliar with OSX beyond the (as it were) BSD zone. If there is a specific missing package, ...

missing package, it would be helpful if I could specifically identify
    it to the Mac guys.

    Thanks.

This is an unfortunate bug brought about by conflicting installers. The
correct way to fix it is to install the full Xcode Tools 1.1 CD, which
    you can download from <http://connect.apple.com/>.

(Basically, the files should be installed by Xcode, but that wasn't
always the case, and during that transition you could end up with a
system on which the files didn't exist even though you'd installed all
of the right pieces. It's complicated.)

    Hope this helps,

XCode 1.2 is out. I would try that first.
