dashed lines

Hi All

Is there are way to do a simple dotted/dashed line in fireworks. I'm using
the vector line tool but cannot find the right setting.

Hi

Lets say I create a simple square shape, I then type the dotted lines using
the text tool. I select both items and then combine paths? I'm kind lost.

Can anyone please tell me how to create a dashed line using fireworks MX (i.e. ---------------) simple I know, but I cannot discover how? Also, to create a dashed line around objects, so a simple box with say solid fill and a dshed border.

created one for FW that creates a dashed line on a path with the click
of a button.

where there is a free CMX Dashpack which will help you out. While you
are there, check out all the other stuff CommunityMX has to offer.
There are free articles, tutorials, and things like the Dashpack, and
for subscribers, there is direct access to experts for advice and
how-tos, as well as other article and downloads available to subscribers
only. They offer a free trial membership. What have you got to lose?

The download links are not compatible with Norton Internet Security, if I
recall. I had the same problem a fewmonths ago.

This is what I'm using.

Go to Macromedia Extension, Look for Fireworks, in the Catagories "Effect",
There is one "Add dot line" by Deng Jie.

Most of all, it's free!!!

Try it then u will know.

I disabled it, and then the load worked fine.
