Default Database Connection PHP Document Type - PLEASE Help

    Hi there,

I have been trying at this for ages. Searching forums, googling with no
success. I want to simply create a database link. Unfortunatly I cannot as
the ( + ) is greyed out in the databas tab. There are the 1, 2 and 3
conditions which need to be satisified for this feature to enable it's self.
The first one is ticked, I have created the Site. I have also clicked on
document type and set it to PHP. When I do this, The document type does not
put a tick next to it's self. And thirdly the testing server option does not
have a tick next to it (I am assuming the second condition must be met to
    move onto the 3rd)

Can anyone please explain what could be happing for dreamweaver not to see
this as a PHP document. The file extentions I am working on are clearly PHP.

    Thanks

    Ross.

Please refrain from posting the same question
    in multiple forums multiple times.

In Dreamweaver press F1. In the Contents look for:
Preparing to Build Dynamic Sites > Setting Up a Web Application
Then look at Database Connections for PHP Developers
