Database driven pics in a table

This is probably really easy - but does anyone have any ideas how I would go
about pulling through images from a database to go into a table that would have
7 spaces horizontally and 3 vertically - all table cells filled with pics from
database...i just cant figure out how to go about this - any ideas for starters?

Hi, we currently have an extension called MX Looper which lets you create
galleries. This also include a navigation bar which let you easily browse
through your content:
