    Without any structure whatsoever then all we can offer you is going to be
    very non situation specific.

    CREATE TABLE Products (ProdID int primary key, ProdName varchar(20))
    CREATE TABLE ORDERS (OrderID int Primary Key, ProdID int REFERENCES
    Products(ProdID), DateOfSale DATETIME)

    --Find All Products sold between two dates

    SELECT DISTINCT P.ProdName FROM Products P JOIN ORDERS O ON P.ProdID =
    O.ProdID
    WHERE O.DateOfSale BETWEEN '20020701' AND '20030131'

    --To Find the Products not sold in that period
    SELECT ProdName FROM Products WHERE ProdName NOT IN
    (
    SELECT DISTINCT P.ProdName FROM Products P JOIN ORDERS O ON P.ProdID =
    O.ProdID
    WHERE O.DateOfSale BETWEEN '20020701' AND '20030131'
    )
