DB write problems
Hi,
I have recently installed my PC with xpPro / IIS 5.1. I am having alot of
problems writing to the hd/DB (Access2000) from ASP pages.
I have played with the windows permissions but with no success.
Can anyone point me to a good FAQ / Tutorial on setting up permissions in
IIS

Re: DB write problems
My first suggestion is to make sure the MDB file is in the same folder (or a
subfolder) as the ASP pages, and not somewhere like c:\
Check that IUSR_YourMachineName has write permissions on that folder, not
just the file. Right-click the folder, hit Sharing and Security... and on
the security tab make sure IUSR_YourMachineName is in the list and has
read/write/modify.
