Help!!!! I have two Servers, with Windows 2000 Server SP1 & 2, and IDS 2000 9.21 TC4-1 in each server.. I did a dbexport from Server 1 and I tried to do a dbimport on Server 2. But It broke without error, It just broke down and no error appear. Have anyone had this problem? Is this is a BUG from this version on Windows 2000 Server??? I did this DBIMPORT on different Servers and allways I had this problem!!! Help me, please. TIA. PD: I'm going to do this exportation with ONLOAD AND ONUNLOAD...

Check the bottom of the dbimport.out file. Any error message there?

Have you looked at the end of the dbimport.out file and at your online log ?

Check that the version you have is supported under w2k. Many releases of 9.x aren't.

If it is, can you create an empty database from dbaccess?

Guys, I could create a new DATABASE with dbaccess or SQLEditor.
    I had no problem.

I checked the dbimport.out file, but it doesn't give me a message
error , just only like follow:

    ....
    ....
    ....
    create procedure sp1 (....)
    begin
define error_number integer; -- Error Number
    define error_msg varchar(255); -- Error Message

    Only this.. No more!
DBIMPORT break and it didn't send any message.
If I edited the SQL archive of dbimport and take out this procedure,
when I repeated the dbimport, the error is caused in another create
    procedure...
with no message error, of course!!!

I don't know what to do. I had no problem importing this "export" on
Infomrix Dynamic Server on Windows NT Server 4.0.

    TIA

    That looks familiar...

Look at the next line in the sql script. I had dbimport crashing like
that because there was a non-ascii character in a comment inside
    a stored procedure.

    Cheers,
    Dirk
