debug info overwritten by rendered html
I have debug turned on, however the html is absolute position so it overwrites
the debug information.
Is there a setting to have the debug information appear below the rendered
html?
When I don't use absolute position the debug information goes to the bottom of
the page.
Any help would be appreciated

Re: debug info overwritten by rendered html
When this happens to me what I usually do is a CTRL A and copy text and paste it into a text document for easier reading. It will seperate the two when you paste it.
Hope that helps.

Re: debug info overwritten by rendered html
Thank you that works better than what I was doing.
However, I am hoping there is a solution from within Cold Fusion not a work around.
Any other suggestions?

Re: debug info overwritten by rendered html
since the html is not on the 'base' of the html page, but 'hovering' above the
base, Coldfusion writes the debug as plain text at the end of the page. I do
not have an abs pos site up, so I can't test this, however, in theory, it
should work.
1. add a page called OnRequestEnd.cfm to your docroot (case-sensitive)
2. add the last piece of code to be the opening tag of an absolute positioned
code that would show at the bottom of each page. (don't close the tag)
In theory, this will leave the debug exposed inside of a 'layer' and allow it
be placed wherever you want it to be.
(OnRequestEnd.cfm is a default page that runs at the end of every page in the
directory, a little like Application.cfm which runs at the top of each page.)
