Default joboption
I am working in Win2K with Office2K and Acrobat 5. I have set up new settings and saved them as a joboption. I would like to make this my default setting when printing to Distiller from any application. I do not know how to do this. Could somebody please help?

Re: Default joboption
Do you mean printing to the Acrobat Distiller Printer? If so, changing job options in the Distiller application has no effect. You have to change settings in the printer properties.

Re: Default joboption
Hi Gary,
Thank you for responding. Yes, I meant printing in Acrobat Distiller. I was wondering if you could change the default settings in printer properties. I only use the one joboption and would like to make it the default setting in printer properties. Is there any other way to do this other than moving all other joboption files to a different location?

Re: Default joboption
all you have to do is go into your start menu to control panels then to printer and find distiller and change the properties

Re: Default joboption
Dave,
You don't have to move or copy the job option files. The Acrobat Distiller/Adobe PDF printer sees the job options in their default location. All you have to do is go to the properties of your Acrobat Distiller/Adobe PDF printer and select the job option from the "Default settings" list. It will then become the default when you print.
