Default Defining file types for Synchronization

I am using DW 8 with other development tools and want only specific file types synchronized to the production server. Is there a way to define what file types are considered?

Well, you have the Cloaking Options (site>manage>modify>cloacking) where you can
exclude certain types of files...but not permit only certain type of files. I
guess you would have to add a whole bunch of extensions in the list.
I'm not aware of any other trick.
