Default Delete pages from a PDF document?

I have the latest Adobe CS/Creative Suite package that I bought. How do I use this to delete pages from the software manual for our contact manager that is in PDF format? I want to provide the users with the "how to" but unfortunately, the manual also includes info that should be seen by the administrator only.

I would think that InDesign could open up the document and it would just entail deleting the last 20 pages of the document, but InDesign doesn't recognize the PDF document.

How can I delete these pages from the PDF document? Is there another program within the Creative Suite that I just didn't install. For what I paid, I would think this should be a pretty easy to do given Adobe's software is what creates the PDFs.

    Thanks!

If you bought the premium suite then it would have come with Acrobat. That would have done the trick.

How many pages are in the document? If there's not that many, you can "place" one at a time into an InDesign document then create a new PDF from that.

InDesign doesn't recognize the PDF document.

It won't "open" a PDF no but as I said, you could place one.

And if you check the "Show Options" box on the place screen, you can select which page of a multi-page PDF to place.

But if you're doing a lot of this, you really do need Acrobat.

Which disk is Acrobat on? I have 4 labeled Installer 1, Installer 2, Resources and Extras and Video Training. I looked on Resources and Extras disk, but there doesn't seem to be anything for Acrobat or an install wizard.

I have the standard version - does that make a difference? Also, I found a fonts folder in the Resources and Extras - how do I install those?

    Thanks!

Yes. Acrobat comes with the "premium" version but not the "standard".

If this is a one time thing, you could also download the trial version of Acrobat from Adobe's site and use it for this project.

It's fully functional for I believe, 30 days. It'll also give you a chance to learn the ropes a bit. You may find other reasons to purchase it.
