Delete pages from PDF
Hello, I am haveing an interesting problem. When I go into my pdf and delete a page (so I can replace it with an updated page) the file size stays the same, and when I ad the replacement page my file size doubles. For some reason it is not getting rid of the page I am trying to delete, it is keeping it somewhere in the document. Is there any way to completely purge a page from a pdf document? Thanks for the help.
-Sincerely,
Joshua

Re: Delete pages from PDF
Do a "Save As" after you delete the page, not just a "Save."

Re: Delete pages from PDF
File > Save As . This re-writes the file.
File > Save . This just tacks the changes made onto the end of the document and so the file size would keep increasing.
This isn't a very technical explanation but it is, in effect, what is happening.
