Delete PDF
How can I delete a PDF that was uploaded to our website when it was
originally linked to. The link has been deleted but the PDF is still
there and it contains what is now considered sensitive information.
Thanks

Re: Delete PDF
If you haven't already, update to Contribute 3.11 (version 3 plus free
Contribute 3.11 updater at
http://www.adobe.com/support/contribute/downloads.html) or higher. This allows
you to over-write a PDF with another of the same file name, via the File >
Publish File From My Computer > ..etc. As far as I'm aware you can't delete
files via Contribute, but you could replace the sensitive one with a
non-sensitive. Otherwise you need to get hold of a separate FTP application
(CuteFTP?) and use that to delete files you don't want.

Re: Delete PDF
1. You'll have to find the file by clicking the button 'Choose', that is next
to the 'Go' button at the right of the address-bar.
2. You locate the file on the server and open it in the browser window of
Contribute.
3. When opened, in the main menu go to: File, Actions, Delete Page and delete
the pdf.
grtz.
