    Default DELETE SPOT COLOR

I would like to delete spot colors in my swatches, but when I try the swatches garbage can is grayed. Is there something I can do to in indesign to correct this problem?

Are we talking CS? If so, try exporting to InDesign Interchange format and then open the .inx file.

The original purpose was to backsave to version 2.0. It didn't work but
it turns out it's a great way to strip out junk and some corruption from
    files.
