Deleted data on hard disc
I recently ran a "Disc Investigator" program and found
that, although deleted (I use AOL) the subject heading
and the E Mail address of every E Mail I have sent are
shown on my hard disc, also the E Mail address and
subject heading of all the spam mail I have received is
also shown.
I have ran several "Eraser" programmes but the data is
still there
Can anyone help
Thanks

Re: Deleted data on hard disc
ya, here is a "worst case scenario"...
remove your HD from the machine, and put it in the microwave. Turn the
microwave on "HIGH" and cook for 10 minutes. The information will be gone
(100% success on this method). Otherwise, use a low level format util >20
times or pgp disk wipe.
Good luck :-)
