DELETING "BACKGROUND" FROM NON-RECT. GRAPHIC WHEN EXPORTING
have created a logo with shadowing with Illust. 10. right now, i wish to place it on my desktop.
i've exported the logo as .bmp.
when i place it to desktop a white rectangle appears, the same
width and height as logo. just want the graphic. thanks.

Someone can correct me if I'm wrong, but I don't think bmp supports transparency, does it? You might try Save for Web and select from the options there. Look for the transparency box. Make sure your original is transparent and has no background layer.
