I have a row with 2 columns. I want to set the value of one of the columns to null without removing the entire row. How can this be done? Thanks, Ron...

    You mean like this??

UPDATE table SET col1 = NULL WHERE col2 = 'value' or
UPDATE table SET col1 = NULL WHERE col1 = 'value'
