    Default Deleting Past Versions

I just updated to 7.05. I looked in apps file and there are 3 other Adobe versions there. Do I need to drop them into the trash bin?

I'd be interested in knowing what three "Adobe" versions are there? Do you mean three other Acrobat versions? But the only ones which run in Mac OS X are Acrobat 5.05, 6.x and 7.x.

Sorry, I am new at this forum and am fumbling around a little. I just tried to send a message back. I hope you don't get two. Here's what is in my apps folder:
    7.01 7.0.7 7.0.7 7.0.5 7.0.5

I'm a little hesitant to just trash the older versions before asking.

It sounds like each time, instead of using the Update feature, you've been downloading a new copy. Yes, I would delete the oldest copies.

You should choose Help > Check for Updates Now when updating Acrobat software.

    Steve:

Are these all versions of READER or full versions of Acrobat 7?

In my Acrobat 7 folder there is an Uninstaller program. But, I am unsure if that will uninstall just that particular version or all Acrobat 7 programs.

They must be. All of them are about 89mb in size. Install dates go back to Dec 05. So at each update, I must be installing a full version along side instead of just an update. On two of them the app reads 7.0.5. When I get the full information it show ver 7.0.7.

I guess, just drag all but one of the 7.0.7 to the trash. Or, look for an install option

I'd go ahead and trash all but the most recent version, unless you have
some need of a previous version. In OS 9.2.2, I've found that 4.05a
behaves better than 5.00, but I keep both, as I see rare occasions when
4 won't open a .pdf, whereas 5 will. So, I keep both, and instead of
double-clicking a .pdf to view it, I drop it onto the app's icon.

    Happy computing,
