Deleting Row Crashes InDesign
I am hoping someone can help.
I am using InDesign CS. When I have a table that flows onto the next page, deleting the rows in the part of the table that flowed over onto the next page causes InDesign to crash. Has anyone else experienced this problem?
Thanks,
Radford Bean

Re: Deleting Row Crashes InDesign
I'm also having table problems.
If I have a table at the top edge of a page (in a text frame) and try to insert anything above the table (text or space), Indesign freezes.
If I try to insert anything on previous pages to force the table to move down, Indesign freezes.
I find I have to cut the table, reformat the page to my liking (insert spaces or whatnot) and then paste the table back in. Tables don't seem to flow when located in certain areas
The only problem I have with Indesign is with tables.
Thanks,
Al - WinXP Pro, 2.4 Athlon, 512 meg ram, plenty of pagefile space

Re: Deleting Row Crashes InDesign
I guess Indesign really doesn't like long documents.
I made each section (10 sections for a total of 60 pages) into a document and put the 10 documents into a book.
I haven't had a single problem with Indesign since.

Re: Deleting Row Crashes InDesign
There are many users creating very long documents using ID. There's
something about your system that's causing those crashes.

all the time. So far, no problems, other than the well-known bugs and
annoyances. No crashes, though.
