I have uploaded a Word doc using Contribute.

Is it possible to physically delete the uploaded Word doc using Contribute?

    Thanks

The files must be deleted directly on the server. Contribute cannot do this.

Apparently you can also delete files that Contribute cannot open. I just tried
it with a .dot file and managed to delete using that process. I even removed
the connection key file I had in one of the directories. Contribute reported
that it could not be used to edit or even open the file, but I was still able
    to remove it.

You can also select a file from the Choose button near the address bar and
    select fils to remove.
