descendant selectors

Hi everyone,

Im trying to train myself at the moment on Dreamweaver 8, and im working my
way through the missing manual guide to it. Its abit of a hefty read. I find it
hard to just read about things rather than actually practise them.
Im really stuck on descendant selectors at the moment. Could someone explain
to me what it is?

Also if anyone has any good links on a good training source would you let me
know?

div <===== This is a selector - it selects any div tag
div p <===== This is a descendent selector - it selects any p tag that is a
descendent of a div tag

<div>...</div> <===== This would be selected by the first rule
<div><p> <===== This would be selected by the second rule
<div>...<p>...</p>...</div>...<p> <==== This would NOT be selected by either
rule.
