    Default Detecting Shockwave version

    Hi all!
Question: is there a way to run standalone version of sw player at projector start? How to avoid forcing download from net? Some advice?

    Tx

The projector contains a version of the Shockwave player, so there is no
need to install it. If that's not what you mean, there is an offline version
of the Shockwave installer, but you aren't allowed to put it on CDs and
distribute them without permission from Macromedia.

If you choose the "Standard" player option when creating the projector, the
Shockwave player is included in the projector as Robert said (may also
require turning off "Media: Compress Shockwave Format").

If you do want to use the Shockwave Player via the Create Projector
Options, you'll need to include certain .dll files in an external Xtras
folder as listed in the technote:
