Detecting which object collides with which - Help Please - Macromedia Director 3D

Hello, Im trying to work out how to detect specific collisions in Director. This is what I basically want... if sprite(me.spriteNum).member.model("Character").col lideWith sprite(me.spriteNum).member.model("University") then beep Trouble is I cant work out what I've done wrong as this doesnt seem to work. Any pointers?...

    Hello, Im trying to work out how to detect specific collisions in Director.
    This is what I basically want...
    if sprite(me.spriteNum).member.model("Character").col lideWith
    sprite(me.spriteNum).member.model("University")
    then beep
    Trouble is I cant work out what I've done wrong as this doesnt seem to work.
    Any pointers?

    I can't see anything wrong with your previous post script. Assuming
    collision.reslove and collision.enabled properties of both models are TRUE...
    When I set the callback for collisions, I use setCollisionCallback(), not
    registerForEvent(). Try
    yourModel.collision.setCollisionCallback(#yourColl isionHandler, me). That's
    strange though, because there should be no difference from registerForEvent().
    Also, don't use updatestage anywhere. I think that breaks the callback.
