The dev tools contain perldoc, gcc etc. So the CD is the easiest way to a complete Perl installation.

For those of us who rely on threaded posts, it also screws things up
if you reply by starting a new thread with a 'Re:' prefix to the

To me, this reads as being pretentious. But please believe that
continuing threads properly helps both questioners and answerers.
