Director issue with 64 bit Vista
Hello.
I'm new to the forums and would appreciate any help or advice.
We developed a director .exe program that utilizes a database on the back-end.
Its basically a glorified power-point tool and the database keeps track of
where the slides are stored and other things of that nature.
We released this to our customers and everything seems to work fine, except
those running Vista 64bit. The slides literally take 10 seconds a piece to
load. I can not remember the name of the database we use on the back-end
except that it is an older database that was made to work with director. The
database file extensions are .blb, .dat and .ind
Are there any other issues like this out there? If so, are there any fixes?
This is a bit different then the shockwave questions because we are not using a
browser here, just the standalone director .exe.
Thanks
