directToStage??? - Macromedia Director 3D

Is it possible to make 3D-sprite with DirectToStage=1 transparent? If DirectToStage=1 the 3D world is working quickly, But we need to lay some 2D sprites beneath and over it. With DirectToStage=false 3d world becames very slow. What can we do?...

No. If it is DTS, then it will not be transparent. You can use imaging
Lingo to make a backdrop that looks just like the stage, though. That
usually works pretty well as long as the background is not moving.

Here's a demo that shows you how you can drag a 2D sprite into a 3D sprite.
    http://nonlinear.openspark.com/tips/3D/dragOverlay/.

It works by creating an overlay from the 2D sprite, and synchronizing the
movement of the 2D sprite and the overlay.
