I should have known better than to post a question in the first place. Unfortunately, it seems that a few of the individuals posting messages fit the mode of "computer geek". You just take shots at those of us that are not "technically" gifted individuals due to the fact that you have no interpersonal skills. I'll know better next time.

I am 6 feet, 5 inches tall with flowing blonde hair. I have a clear complexion and I use moisturiser. I do not have a degree but I do have a surf-board. I do not drink coca-cola but rather I enjoy freshly squeezed carrot juice. I do not live alone or with any other men but I am happily married without ever having visited marriage counsuling.

While there has been some humour that you may not agree with there has also been some very good factual information supplied. You could have called Adobe and got the same basic answer but it would not have been as colourful - and probably not as informative as the answers you received here.

Do you have a single brother by any chance? A friend of mine likes playing pool, line dancing, computers, working out and bowling. She's really pretty and great company. Maybe they could swap phone numbers???????????????? (opps, did I REALLY put that many question marks?)

    Meabh,

But bearing in mind today's date he may be 4 feet 3, bald and 400 lbs with only one leg and be covered in acne. He may have a degree but no surfboard etc. etc.

Are you really willing to let your friend take this chance? (or maybe she isn't really a friend?)

Dare I say if you close your eyes anything is possible? But you're right, I should let her do her own canvassing. I'm too busy being temporarily a single mom (hubby deployed). Hurry up Summer and returning to a complete family again!

    Ernie,
I am truly sorry that you were offended and feel you were not helped by some of the world's most experienced Acrobat users, who give of their time freely to help other users in distress. The advice you were offered was simple, straight to the point and true. Disappointingly you did not accept that.

In general the tone of replies is established by the tone of the question. Polite people who post questions and provide all the basic infomation necessary to help the helpers are received and assisted graciously. People posting agressive notes and DEMANDING that fellow users change the reality of the World Wide Web are received and assisted a little less graciously.

I am sure everyone is looking forward to the next opprotunity to help you whenever you have need.
    Cheers
    Ian
