Display of Overlapping DIVs

    Default Display of Overlapping DIVs

I am still using Dreamweaver 2. When I edit a file containing overlapping DIVs
in the WYSIWYG editor, they are laid out end to end, facilitating editing of
each DIV without having to go into the HTML. This is an important feature to my
client who wants to be able to maintain the site without in-depth knowledge of
    HTML.

My client has Dreamweaver MX. When he opens the same file, the overlapping
DIVs are displayed one on top of the other, making it impossible to see and/or
    edit the contents of each.

Is there a way to configure Dreamweaver MX to display the DIVs one after the
    other, so as to allow editing from the WYSIWYG editor?:frown;

I don't recall whether DMX has Design-time stylesheets or not, but if it did
you could try creating one that arrays your divs that way.

However, this whole thing sounds pretty dicey to me - allowing a client to
    edit the site with DW....

    Thanks for the response, Murray.

Dicey or not, it's the client's requirement that he be able to maintain the
site once it is created, and he uses DMX.

Does anyone know if DMX has 'Design Time Stylesheets'? Where would I find
    documentation?
