    Default Displaying FAQs

I have a list of FAQs in a database. Fields include
    FAQID
    Question
    Answer

I would like to display them in the following manner:

I would like to populate a dropdown box with the Questions from the
    Questions field in the database.

When a user clicks on one of the questions in the dropdown box, I would like
the Answer to show just below it.

I am drawing a blank in how to go about this. Not even sure what words to
Google on. Can someone point me to a tutorial or suggest a method to do
    this using ASP and javascript?

    Thanks,
    mickey

Woops. I should have mentioned - I know how to populate the dropdown box
from the database, I just don't know how to make the choices in the dropdown
box pull up the info from the corresponding record that is selected.

    Thanks,
    mickey

    Default Re: Displaying FAQs

Create two recordsets on the page. (lets call them rsList & rsAnswer)

The first is to get the list of questions so it would only include FAQID &
    Question.
The Second is to retrieve the specific answer so it will be a Select * but
filter the results based on the FAQID and a passed URL parameter of FAQID.

Now create a form and set the form method to post and the action to the same
page. Place a menu in it. Name this menu FAQID. In the PI click the dynamic
option (Lighting bolt) and map the fields in rsList to it.

Now grab the form tab to select the entire form elements and apply a "Show
region if recordset is empty" behaviour to it mapping it to rsAnswer.

Then drag the fields from rsAnswer to the page as you want them to appear,
and then wrap this display in a "show region if recordset is not empty"
    behaviour.
