Displays jpg not movie - Macromedia Flash Player

My player has stopped playing movies and is now displying a jpg from a site I visited earlier today in the place where the movie should play. It is a still picture from a totally different site but no movie. It had been working until today. Any thoughts?...

    Hi EmilysDad1952,

Please test to see if Flash Player is installed here:

    http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

If Flash Player is installed (latest version is 9.0.115.0) and you are
encountering this issue, please respond with the URL.

    Mr. McNally
I am having issues similar to EmilysDad1952.
After exhaustive research through Adobe's help to verify install, permissions
and numerous other things; I am still not able to view content on this web site.

    http://www.expertvillage.com/

    I can view content at
    http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/
    You have version 9,0,115,0 installed
I can view content at the version test
    http://kb.adobe.com/selfservice/viewContent.do?externalId=tn_15507&sliceId=2

I can install all three web players listed at:
    http://www.adobe.com/shockwave/download/alternates/

    Any help would be appreciated.

    Thank You
    Respectfully

    Hi RobertRoot,

If you?re able to view http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/ Flash
Player is working correctly. I?m not familiar with how
http://www.expertvillage.com/ developed their site, but I would suggest that
you check your internet setting in IE. ?

I noticed that when I disabled Active Scripting I could not play videos from
this site, but I could still view Flash from other sites and from here:

    http://www.macromedia.com/software/flash/about/

    1. Open Internet Explorer.
    2. Choose Tools > Internet Options.
    3. Select the Security tab.
    4. Choose Internet.
    5. Click Custom Level.
    6. Ensure that the Download Signed ActiveX Controls option is set to Prompt.
    7. Make sure that Active Scripting is set to Prompt or Enabled.
