Distiller not working on G5 with Tiger
Distiller isn't distilling Quark eps files nor postscript files. I installed Tiger two weeks ago and haven't had any problems until yesterday. Now when I drag a file onto the Distiller window, the Progress bar zips to 100% and then the Status reads Ready, but no pdf file has been creted. Anyone have any ideas?

Re: Distiller not working on G5 with Tiger
Please try turning off any PDFLib elements. Launch Distiller > go to Settings > Edit Adobe PDF Settings... In the General tab, turn off "Optimize for Fast Web View" and "Embed Thumbnails". Set "Object-Level Compression" to Off. Make sure not apply any Security. All of these things can be done in Acrobat to the finished PDF if you need them. Thumbnails are built on the fly every time a PDF is opened, so you may never need to embed them. I can't promise this will help, but its worth a try.

Re: Distiller not working on G5 with Tiger
I just reinstalled Acrobat including Distiller after I trashed the old folder. I didn't remove any preferences or libs. I tested the newly installed Distiller on the same files I was having problems with, and now it works. I didn't turn off the PDFLib elements as sws suggested, but I did make a new default setting with the other suggestions. It works in that setting as well. I thinks it's definitely worth trying a reinstall.
