Distiller quits with red button Hi
I running MAC OS10.3.4 and I have a quirky problem which although not life threating is odd. Acrobat distiller instead of staying open in the dock, quits when I close it with the red button. It is the only program that does this and it is most annoying. Anybody any ideas if its a distiller problem or a Mac problem or is it something I have to live with?

Re: Distiller quits with red button If you start a program, move it's position in the dock, close it with the red button, it stays in the dock. (At least in 10.2.8)

Something you have to live with. there are some other Mac apps that have this same feature. It's very Windows-like.

Are you sure?
In 10.2., message 1 explains how to keep it in the dock when you close it by pressing the red button.
If you don't change the position order in the dock the application disappears when the red button is pressed.
If you want it to stay open in the dock, you use the orange button.
I hope this hasn't changed in 10.3.

Are you sure?
In 10.3.x, it closes the program when you shut down the window with the red button.
